My two year old had a meltdown in Barnes and Noble because it was time to leave. He started screaming so DH picked him up and carried him out. We had to walk from the back of the store to the exit, with a 2 year old flopped over DH's shoulder, screaming "the books, the books, the books, the books!" with his arms outstretched.

It sounded like we were murdering him.

My 2 yr old had a total meltdown after I offered 7 pairs of jammies, and he was mad they didn't have busses on them. We don't own bus jammies.

This was post "mama awfuls - not not these awfuls, different awfuls (waffles)" meltdown.

Last night was awesome.

My 2 year old had a meltdown because I wouldn't let him drive the car. He also had a meltdown the other day because I would let him "go in a rocket into outer space".

My 3 yo had to be carried out of the mall yesterday because her plastic spoon fell on the floor and we dared to get her a new one. She threw the new one across the room and screamed as though we were killing her because we would not let her use it. We are horrible parents, indeed

11 month old had a fit yesterday while I was in the other room. Asked DH what was going on "oh, I put your pump parts in your bag". Ooooh, okay, I get it. She wasn't even playing with them, she just saw him close the zipper.

"I'm tired!" (waaaaaaah!)

"OK, let's go to bed then."

"I don't want to go to bed!" (waaaaaaah!)

Total meltdown at two when, after helping daddy take the garbage to the curb, the garbage men took our garbage away.

2yo DS had a meltdown because grandma gave him his cup, instead of me. She had to go put it back in the kitchen, and then I had to go into the kitchen and get it and bring it back to him.

He also started screaming in the car because his Spiderman sandals were not velcro-ed evenly.

5yo DD cries because my 10yo DS looks or smiles at her.

Within the last few days -

The middle Metro escalator was broken (and barricaded) and no other way down into the Metro was acceptable.

Only orange seats were available on the Metro and she wanted red.

We could only gets seats without a window on the Metro and I wouldn't let her ask other people to move.

(I'm realizing my life would have fewer tantrums if we didn't have 2 45 minute Metro rides a day....)

The check in/out computer at daycare wasn't working.

The purple crayon broke.

She is outraged that I tossed her copy of George at the Fire Station, which she ruined by upending her cup of milk on it. This one I hear about every couple of days and it's been over a month.
