House on Maple sold for $1.26million. And that one sold even before the open house.

The house on Dogwood sold for list and the house on Holt went under contract after the price was lowered to 750.

I agree. I actually was one of the losing bids on this house. Super annoying. Hating the market right now.

The house was underpriced to generate a bidding war. I say this as someone who wishes sellers would just effing list houses at or near the actual market value so that I wouldn't get my hopes up and bid for houses way out of my range. So discouraging.

Actually went for 762K and listed at 669K so 93K above list. Still ridiculous.

Just got an alert from Redfin--the purple house went for 103k over asking! Insanity.

I also appreciate the helpful math of the listing agent:
originally built in 1900 which makes this property approximately 114 years old.

Yep - me too. Could do without the pepto kitchen. And 1660 sf is on the small side - but so perfect for a not so big house. Love it.

Yes, but in general I think the neighborhood is getting hotter and more expensive. And very little inventory, esp for 4BR+.
