Our neighbor's son did the same. Good for these kids for knowing what's right for them.

Except the jealous wannabees are the aggressive ones in this thread, the ones who are slamming the Ivy kids by comparison with Julliard. Nobody has slammed Julliard.

Folks, these are ALL good schools. No need to make yourself feel better by running down someone's Ivy kid just because they aren't going to Julliard instead. Geez.


Iff you're really jealous, you can pick up for a couple bucks one of those clear school banner stickers that you affix to your rear window. A much better bargain than paying tuition. The cashier at the university co-op won't check your name against a list. Then everyone at the club or wherever can think you have a kid Harvard or Princeton, Be sure to take the sticker off, however, before your kid comes home at Thanksgiving. It might make him feel bad (or conclude that you're weird).
