Look women, most men are stupid and don't get obvious hints, let alone subtle hints. If you want him to fuck you, send a nude pic and say, "I want you to fuck me right now". If you have nothing on but high heels and an apron cooking dinner, and he sees you like that and does nothing, lay on the table and say "fuck me". Men are turned on by that. Some men just don't know what to do when they experience something out of the ordinary. I'm a man, I miss these clues all of the time!!!

I could see my DH blowing it like OP's did. I think he would just feel a bit awkward and not know how to respond. That is not an excuse; I would be totally annoyed as OP is, but it is what it is. Maybe if I kept up that kind of behavior, my dh would figure out how to respond, but it's too discouraging.

Oh, you asked for similar stories...a looooong time ago, I cooked my dh's birthday dinner wearing only heels and a sexy apron. He was totally awkward about it, and I think I got dressed before it was even finished. Ugh.

I tried this once and was also dressed fairly quickly with no action.
