We applied to Kipp because it was a block away, and didnt get in until lat August (had already accepted another spot). KIPP is popular, just not with DCUM.

Really? If that's the case then it only reaffirms my thinking that they are going about it all wrong and that it will only worsen the problems, not improve them.
