But: Daniel's mom wears a shirt and pants but neither Daniel nor his Dad wear pants unless they are wearing (trolley) pajamas. I guess it could be a take on an evolving society, but even my 3.5 year old wants to know about this.
Also, the potty song is great: "If you have to go potty, stop and go right away, flush and wash and be on your way." Would have been great if they could have added "wipe" to that song. Now we hear, "but Daniel doesn't wipe" or the "song doesn't say to wipe." Our reply is "that's because Daniel is a tiger and tigers don't wipe. Only humans."

That barks and has a collar? Either animals can talk, or they can't. There shouldn't be a hierarchy of which animals can own other animals.
It is not even consistent within the dog species. Pluto is a pet dog who barks etc, but Goofy is a dog who talks wears clothes and drives a car. Very disturbing.
To quote one of my favorite movies, "Yeah! What the fuck IS Goofy?!"

Not me. I watch that show for pointers on how I can get my older child to raise my younger child for me and I can do absolutely nothing, except pawn them off on their drunk grandmother every so often.

We watched the Easter one first, and it took us a few days to realize she was now calling everyone stupid because that's what Peppermint Patty called Marcy.
ANd the Halloween one is full of bullying of Charlie Brown. Seriously mean, mean stuff. Adults give him rocks in his trick or treat bag?
And so on - if these shows were made today there'd be a huge outcry. I still watch them with my kids, but boy they are harsh.
