Subject: I want a different life than my husband wants
It took my husband three years to convince me to move from DC to WA state. I told him I'd give it three years and then opt to move back to DC if I hated it. Turns out I love it here, although job prospects for me *suck.*
If we divorced--which is possible--I'd have to move back to DC since that's where I'd be able to earn an decent income.

This. We are retired but still living in DC which we don't particularly like due to child's school. We want DC to finish elementary at his immersion language charter bc there really are not many alternatives. We are moving back to NYC once he's done.
Can understand why pp is divorced. You really need to be on the same page as a couple regarding lifestyle.

Good idea. However, I will be taking the kids and he will be at home golfing. Sigh.
