PP with the gay brother. He did not purport to speak for ALL gays. He spoke for himself and I posted it.

You are saying it is the opposite? I disagree. People are arguing to the teeth they are not "gay" although they committed one or more homosexual acts.
What's wrong with being called gay? People are going out of their way to deflect the label - like something is wrong with it.

Frankly, I do not care what people do in the privacy of their bedroom. Just be upfront about it.


People are arguing with being called gay because they currently do not fantasize about other men, love the scent and feel of a woman, can't wait to bone their wives and do not secretly wish she was some dude - they don't look at other men and think they're hot, but can fully appreciate a sexy woman walking down the sidewalk with her ass swaying slightly and her tits bouncing. That's why they're arguing about it. Clearly they have no problem with it if they've tried it and they wouldn't have a problem calling themselves gay if they wanted to be with men in mind and body. But they don't. How is that difficult to understand?

Dude, your sexuality isn't like sushi, so if you try it seven times you'll start to like it. I've always liked girls, even before I would admit it. I'm about as likely to "try" being gay as I am to try having sex with a goat. I don't need to try it to know I'm not into it.

Savage Love had a great column on this, where men describe some gay experience as just having happened, as if they had nothing to do with it. I'll keep this on the non-explicit board, but essentially there's no such thing as winding up with a ___ in your mouth by accident.

The guys who have done this are gay or bi and just have too much shame to admit it. Hey, from me to you: it's ok to be a straight-identified bi person.

There's nothing wrong with being called "gay" except for the fact that relating is solely to a physical act is completely wrong. Gay men LOVE other men even when they are not having sex with them. They love their male partners more than they love other males. Just like straight men loves their wife more than they love other women.

Sure, I engaged in homosexual activity when I was 14 at a sports camp. You can call me "gay" if you want, but please don't demean the love that gay men and women have for their partners.
