So I feel that I'm completely justified in my jealousy of people with money. Yes, I'm envious. I want your bank account. I want your nice car and your nice house and your vacations and your good credit score.
Go to Canada then
This country is not meant for people like you. You will never be rich as a teacher. You will never get the kind of health care that covers everything.

MS can be deceiving. Not everyone has difficulty with use of arms/legs etc. some people experience double vision, feel very tired, are very sensitive to the heat, have memory loss. A person may not be in a wheelchair, but still have a very hard time functioning. OP should absolutely prepare for the worst.

M.S is an awful, awful disease. A friend of mine was in a wheelchair a couple of years after receiving his diagnosis - though from what I understand men tend to have a worse outcome than women. Some patients can live normal lives and continue to work full time etc. but OP you need to plan for the worst just in case.

1) Get a lawyer to fight for your disability benefits and
2) get onto state insurance.
3)While you're still young and physically able to, get an education/training in something. (Maybe counseling?)
I wouldn't go into a field that heavily relies on vision like working with numbers or a lot of writing or having to think or move quickly.

Good luck

There is a difference between enviousness, which many feel about people with money, and resentment, which is n yr title and implies u disks them for being financially successful.

I don't even know that I will be alive tomorrow. You worry what will happen to you in the next decade. You should do your best to solve your problems on hands with this particular moment. It does not matter how much you justify your jealousy with other people money. You will not get it.

Also she is trying to get a teaching cert. that needs to be from the us. Op, maybe u could eventually find a job at a school that is part time (less taxing) and then live near the school or near a bus route that could take u to the school. You could tutor kids. Have cab fare to the kids' houses be part of your wages. U will figure sthing out, I promise. U may need to move away from dc bc it is so pricey here.
