What do you know about the Italian criminal justice system that makes you think it is ridiculous?

I had not heard of them but agree with your last sentence for any missing child - all are tragedies.

It's probably not really a mystery at all. They most likely moved out of the doomed colony and in with nearby Native groups.

I got this answer today!
They never make it out of the washing machine.
Once full small items can push to and over the top of the barrel down between the barrel and the outer machine.
They are there just not visible and possibly not accessible without an engineering degree.
