I have great parking skills I lived in europe and I can parallel park left side, right side, uphill, downhill etc.. I never parked back in first until I had a baby. we have tons of people who speed on our street and the suvs or trucks that surround me make it harder to see if I have to back out and then what if they hit me? they hit my baby first. Um, no thanks. My baby is more important than you OP any day. So, stew bitch stew! Although, I can park back in faster than you could ever hope to park anything.

The people driving in the parking lot have right of way over those people backing out of spaces.

I can see pulling through a spot if it is there and no one is in motion for the other spot. I can NOT see being inconsiderate and backing into a spot if others are waiting or if it involves your neighbors lawn. Be reasonable, people.

My husband backs in. I dont bc I dont have the confidence and I do find it easier to back out of a spot than in. I think he does it out of habit but he also backs in less time than it takes for me to drive. The people who are parking too close or running over thinks are just bad drivers.

I drive a small vehicle. When I back out of a space, I CANNOT SEE over the enormous SUVs which surround me.
