Anonymous wrote:Camp Sonshine - kids LOVE it. I knew DD would (she's been there several years already) but this was DS's first year, and he has been very vocal about disliking any new classes/camps/experiences. He has told us repeatedly that he loves it and can't wait to go each day. And kudos to them for remaining open and keeping the kids as cool as possible and having fun despite losing power all of last week.

From Fort Dupont website, their ages requirement: Entering 2nd through 6th grade in the Fall. Did they accept kids entering 1st grade in the fall?

Interested in people's opinion on CASA at Sheridan? I like that they have swimming.

My 9 year old son is finishing up the sports academy camp this week and he has loved it. Organized sports activities, fun games, and daily pool time.
My 6 year old daughter has also loved camp at Stone Ridge. She was in the mighty gator 6 year old day camp.....arts and crafts, games, water play, good ole summer fun.
The camp is well organized. The counselors are enthusiastic and nurturing. We have been very happy with this camp experience and would recommend it to other families for next summer.
