You called out Cherita and the response irritated you and you want me to believe that you have a G&T child. I think you are probably raising future W&S children.
Why are you insulted with my racial over-tones? Really, you find it pathetic by reading my posts, do you live in DC under a rock. Your day to day interactions must be in a house of mirrors. Remember it was you who said you could imagine the way Cherita would talk. Hmm, it all starts with imaginary friends, that's okay.

Did she not endorse a white principal not only the first one but the second one. Although her AA counterparts said she was a sellout because she endorsed white leadership at a predominantly AA enrolled school. If that is the way she's percieved by you...consider yourself being clairvoyant.
Again, when I read the little blip that there's a community of y'all who will LIE to go-along to get-along, purely intrigued me. Why can't there be honest dialogue. What ever it took for you to get here, then by George use that same energy to go away. Many of you are not willing to make changes of substance but just want drastic changes.
A test-in middle school is now the code word for keeping out less diserables. I think I'll start a Youtube sensation called "The Shit White Parents say in regards to DCPS." Stay tuned.
By the way Cherita is still mourning the lost of her family member, Chuck Brown, the Godfather of Go-Go.
It is perverse how you make everything into white/black. You do it on many threads and it is destructive and pathetic.
What do you have to say about the many many high SES AA families at Brent? I am talking Ivy League, million dollar home-owning AAs. I know them. I am a Brent parent. They want challenge. They want test-in programs for their high performing kids. They are hiring tutors to get the challenge their kids need. Are they "acting white" and therefore don't count?
Also, how do biracial, high-SES parents of high-performing kids fit into your prehistoric world view? Are they "acting white" and therefore don't count? Brent is chock full of these.
So, you feel test-in programs for GT kids are exclusive? What should GT kids do all day? Be bored shitless? Have any enthusiasm for learning they may have be squashed? If you have a GT kid, what do you want for them? How do you feel they should spend their day?
WTF? Crabs in a bucket. If one crawls up to the rim, you want to pull him down with the rest.
And please don't make any assumptions about my race.

Hmmm, nothing beats a failure but a try. It worked with the Banneker and the SWW experiment. So, keep at it, don't give up Brent families, I am counting on you to do this as an AA family, I am so vested to this idea. Go head white families lay down the foundation and I as an AA family will just enter on the premise; that if you try to keep me out, I will scream racism. See, the harder you try to change, it will all remain the same in some form or fashion.
I'm AA and I'll be the one calling you a reverse racist, hon. What a pathetic post. Tax payers deserve challenge for their kids. PPs aren't talking about keeping white families after 3rd grade; they're talking about keeping voters w/children here. My advanced kid is just as bored at S-H as white kids and some other AA kids, so we're bailing. Scream racism all you like, you will be in the dim-witted minority on the Hill soon enough and the politicians won't be able to listen AND keep their jobs. The harder the Brent and Maury parents try, the more likely they are to succeed because they deserve success for their incredibly hard work in turning those schools around. Some of you have short memories and histories on the Hill - I remember Brent when there wasn't a middle-class kid of any color there.
I'd kill for a test-in MS, like those in other E. Coast cities, because my kid would almost certainly test-in. We've made sure of that at home. Hint: we don't have a TV, hire tutors, and have the integrity and vision not to cry racism when we can't, or won't, compete.
Crazy Elliot-Hine poster, sounds like you just got served.
