Well, that and a lot of trade protection for domestic industries, currency manipulation (I think although I haven't checked, but China and other SE Asian countries certain manipulate their currencies), and policies to attract foreign capital. But who's counting?

I still think you are a darling. It's clear why public education is where it's at in America. As you so aptly infer, the parents and the children are the prime problem. Good luck on your Master's degree. How long has it taken you to earn this?


I'm not the poster you are trying to insult, but yes, parents and children are most definitely the prime problem. This is obvious to anyone who has spent time in a classroom. Atrocious behavior on the part of poorly raised children, and atrocious behavior by entitled and, frankly, uneducated, parents is by far the most critical issue impeding education.
