Thanks for your concern, but I'm quite well adjusted. It's not like on Tuesday the voices in my head tell me to be a single AA mom in sending her kids to public school, and Thursdays I'm a SAHM in McLean whose primary concern in live is that my kids get carsick in the back of my Lexus, but not other SUVs. It's for entertainment purposes only. I generally see see a post where someone has taken an absurd or offensive position, have a bit of free time, and hit back at them. Nothing sinister or troublesome, I assure you. Although I suppose I'd be the last to know . . .

It's absurd. If for no other reason than people lie. I frequently don alternate personas here. Sometimes I'm a man, sometimes I'm a woman. Sometimes I'm black, sometimes I'm white. Sometimes I'm a ranting athiest, sometimes I accuse others of being a ranting athiest. Sometimes I have one boy, sometimes I have 5 kids. Sometimes I'm from Ward 3, sometimes I'm from Ward 8. And I can't be the only one.
Well, you have certainly opened my eyes to DCUM this morning! Seriously, I knew people could have off days or rant more than usual, but it did not occur to me that people would adopt alternate personas. Guess I'm too trusting.
? I'm with 8:15 on this. Don alternate personas? What's the constructive outcome you're aiming for with alternate personas? If it's venting, then do you think it might be better to address the core issues more directly, say, through therapy? I'd be very concerned about any family member or friend who was posting anywhere under alternate personas. That just doesn't seem to be a very healthy way to resolve your life issues.

AA mom, not everyone judges on the color of ones skin. Lets not teach hate.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:"That was wise of you. I do have an interfaith, interracial marriage to a man I absolutely adore. But, if he hadn't been a dog-lover I would not have married him. That is just one bridge too far for me. Being an animal lover is a much more important part of my personality than my race or my religion. Only another animal lover would make me happy. "
Holy cow, being an animal lover is more important than your relationship to God? You are nuts, nuts, nuts.
Not nuts, just different from you. People find comfort and solace in many different things.
