My guess was Charlotte, NC. I went to Wake Forest and a LOT of the women I went to college with are like this. It's hilarious because I don't wear "designer" labels (nor do my children) and our HHI is more than double the price of their "fabulous" house.
So this make you somehow better than them? This is "hilarious"? Serious delusions of grandeur, lady.

That one is pitied by someone else until you work your way to the very, very richest people in this country. And then you find out it's Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, and they don't give a fuck about all of this nonsense.
It's a strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

I endured an afternoon with a few moms where one mom kept going on and on about how lucky and priviledged she was.
What drew you to that area? A job? Tired of D.C.? Unfortunately, there is that part of social strata everywhere. Some call them social climbers. The irony is that it is not a group many care to be with. The funny part is, well, they are humorous without realizing.

Which parts do you think are snobbish?
1. The part where OP says they "only" have one college degree;
2. The part where OP says their house "only" costs $100000;
3. The part where OP complains that they wear Coach sunglasses and Juicy Couture sweatsuits (and other people call them tacky);
I'm the OP. I never used the word "only" to describe the housing costs. I said they cost around 200k. Someone else said the houses somewhere else were only 100k. You're right about #3. I do think those labels are tacky, but maybe inappropriate would be a better word when describing 30-something year olds wearing Juicy sweatsuits. As for the college degree part, I'll admit to personal bias. I'm glad you answered my question.
label whoring trashy crap
