note the chart and how bush fixed the first recession even with the double wammy of 911 and .com crash. obamas policies or just the perception in the business world of obama had caused the economy to go the wrong way
Everyone hated bush and blames him for everything, when we look back at this in 20 years we will learn obama was the problem and bush was not bad at all
There is not an economist around who blames Obama for the Great Recession, which started under Bush's watch. Even the Republican candidates do not blame him. Rommey's argument is that, under Rommey, the economy would have turned around quicker. That is a different argument. But your chart fails to note that those jobs losses in the early Obama Admin are attributable to Great Recession. Bush was President from January 2001 to January 2009. As noted at 2152, from February 1, 2001 to January 31, 2009, the US economy had net job growth of only 1.1 Million, and the private sector had a NET JOB LOSS of 500,000. That is one of the worst economic performances in decades. The Bush Adminisration created no private sector jobs; it supported a huge increase in govt jobs, much of which was probably justified based on 911. But to say the Bush Administration had a terrific jobs records is simply false.

If he hadn't taken the compromise route, he would be sailing to victory. As it is, he will win because the GOP is putting forth the most pathetic pool of candidates in the history of history.
I support Obama enthusiastically. No I don't agree with everything he's done, but I trust him to do what is right for this country instead of what is right for the 5 rich guys who bought him the office.
Please tell me what he has done? Unemployment, Food stamps, wellfare, and gas prices are at all time highs. He is turning his back on Israel and ally of ours and not dealing with a soon to be Nuclear armed iran... How on earth could u support such an unqualified presidential failure
I wouldn't say he's done nothing. To name a few things that I appreciate: Got Osama, ended "don't ask, don't tell", getting troops out of Iraq, removed restrictions on stem cell research, balanced the Supreme Court.
Not to say I approve of everything he has done/is doing (nor have I with any president), but I disagree when you say that he has done nothing. I also disagree that he is turning is back on Israel- how is he doing this exactly?

Love the way you spin a yarn.Anonymous wrote:1)I know that the average price of gas was around 1.80 when Obama was sworn into office. It is now around 3.80.
2)Food prices have also jumped.
3)Im particularly happy that revised congressional budget office estimates for the cost of ObamaCare nearly doubled from 900 billion to 1.76 trillion.
Thats why I support him.
