If you don't think Catholics are Christian, is there a specific denomination that's teaching you this?
Don't be obtuse. She's saying that that it's not automatic that a Christian is a Catholic. She is not saying that Catholics are NOT Christian.
Catholics consider themselves to be Christians, which is fine. Catholics simply do not represent all of Christianity. In my personal view, the current Catholic Church does not represent in many areas what I consider to be Christian values.

Truthfully I think the OP is trying to make this an anti-Christian thing but it is clear that one Church is at the center of the recent debates.

I am pro-choice, meaning that each individual makes her own decision. If you oppose it, do not have one. I am not forcing you to have one. In your world, you would limit by freedom by preventing from having one. And, in today's Republican world, you want to prevent me from using contraceptives. In my world, it is your choice.

When I was younger, youd get something every blue moon but its more common now as if the church is threatened by whatever government may impose on them.
From abortion, contraceptives, to gay marriage, the church to me seems worried that they will have to "support" the laws of the land on these issues and I can see their side of their argument.
I don't know how old you are, but during the 80s, 90s and 2000s, all the preachers politicized from the pulpit. Maybe you have elective amnesia. How do you think the Falwells, Robertsons and now Billy Grahmam's son made their mark. Heck, the PTL Jessica Simpson or Hahn preacher preached his televised services and politics were always mingled in the sermon. And the list goes on.

Rereading, this looks like three separate concerns:

To c), I think the appropriate response in a pluralistic country is "tough shit."

You forgot: "and ohbytheway, since WE don't think you're married, even though you are by the law of the land, your partner doesn't get to come on our health plan, etc."
