A mother of three boys, 8, 10, and 12. Trust me. I know boys. My house is usually full of boys. Boys from soccer, gymnastics, the church youth choir, the neighborhood, and none of them are interested in wearing shearling or flats. I am assuming that those of you proclaiming the joys of uggs and toms for your sons have boys in the 5 and under age group, where mom has a strong influence and peer pressure hasn't crept in yet.
