No to be snarky but washing your skin and hair daily is absolutely terrible for both. Especially in the winter and even more if you have dry skin, eczema, etc... It also helps decrease risks of infections by keeping good body fihgting bacteria on your skin and avoiding cracks in skin that would allow bad bacteria to enter. Kids especially. The more dirt and good germs that are on them, the less likely they will get sick, have rashes, and in the long run has even shown to prevent certain cancers.
Unless you are genuinely dirty or sweaty, there is no need to shower daily. Washing hair should be 3x a week maximum.
America is nuts with the over-washing obsession.
Yeah, Americans and their disgusting obsession with cleanliness.![]()
I have a friend who changes her family’s sheets (parents, 3 kids) twice a week. She also uses full scent tide and scented fabric softener on everything. I’m sure she is shower obessed too.
And all anti-bacterial soap too. I know the kind. Poor kids will end up have allergies, asthma, and maybe even leukemia.
You are the sick one. Leukemia? Really? Wtf is wrong with you?
And my kid is clean. Washes his hands all the time, showers daily, clean clothes and deodorant, very hygiene focused. He has no allergies, no asthma and he’s healthy. He’s also 12 and has always been this way. You dirty, lazy parents will use any excuse.
