- I agree- looks like they have one for you to see to get the sale and then ship you a cheap piece of crap in the cheapest box possible. Certainly not what the sales person shows you.
I could have bought it at Target for 8 or 9 dollars tops. Never again.....

And, if it's such awful jewelry, as some are claiming, then don't buy it. I disagree. I have pieces, love it, and it's great, well-made & well-designed fashion jewelry. Send it back if something is wrong with a piece, the company takes returns. And, too, the party plan business model has been around since Sarah Coventry first started the Home Party Business in the 1950s & it was hugely successful, just like S & D is today. Lots of people like it, so those who are writing must be the very few who have had some pieces come to them that were not acceptable. Just send it back! And stay home, please, 'cause parties with negative people are no fun!

Try Contagious Creations Jewelry they have really cute pieces that are similar and way better quality with actual real gemstones too!

Anonymous wrote:I absolutely love Stella & Dot jewelry! Most of the jewelry pieces are so unique looking, I haven't been able to find anything similar any where. The more expensive pieces I wouldn't buy for myself but that's where hosting a party is awesome. I hosted one and earned $350 in free jewelry and it was just a fun girls night. People who didn't want to come, didn't and people who wanted to come and loved the jewelry, did. I ended up having 30 people there from every aspect of my life and every one had a blast! As far as I know, no one has had to return anything. Some jewelry tarnishes, no matter where you get it from- even Sterling Silver. Sterling Silver is not made with 100% silver (it would be IMPOSSIBLE to mold jewelry because silver is too soft) so it's the other percentage of metal in there that makes it tarnish. Every woman who has a large jewelry collection should own a polishing cloth. You can find them SO cheap and all it takes is a couple wipes before you wear it & the jewelry looks beautiful. Plus, Stella & Dot sends out in the boxes a piece of paper with caring instructions. I understand there 3 month policy, because after that damage that gets done is probably from the user. If I wear a necklace with a delicate chain 24/7 and it breaks after 6 months of sleeping in it, or tossing it around so the chain gets tangled- I wouldn't expect it to be allowed to get returned.
Bottom line is the jewelry is BEAUTIFUL, if it's too expensive- don't buy it or host a party.

Anonymous wrote:Bought 3 pieces, and when I got them delivered I had the impression the quality you get is different (worse) than those they show at the party.
Is this my experience only?
This is really a scam
