Get electrolysis. It is a time committment, but having done laser, which IS NOT permanent, electro is the way to go. But please don't pluck. Huge mistake.
Hey from the future. I know this was posted 3 years ago (I was the depressed 32 y/o from page 1) and I wanted to report back on my findings. I used to get 2 or 3 thick wiry hairs on either side of my chin. I've been religiously ripping them out as soon as they're long enough to grip with my tweezers. Three years later, I don't get them on the left side and they are so fine in the right side it's almost impossible to get a good grip.
