McKnight was foisted upon the UMCP College of Education by the Moore Administration. Get real if anyone thinks that a superintendent with her track record is a catch for any future employer. She must be keeping her head down to a certain extent there - she is making over $150K now. Who the heck would want her as a professor? Not me.

+100. Some folks can’t accept that them being angered might be progress(especially for others). Nor do they understand that what keeps many candidates from applying to the job is not the salary it’s not wanting to deal with their drama.
Drama like threatening to disrupt thousands of people's summer plans as part of some scheme to extract something from the union? Or opening high schools at 9am for a snow delay but refusing to open the before care that high school teachers rely on in order to go to work before elementaries open at 11-11:30? That drama was on Taylor.

Angering some people is the nature of the job. And the nature of DCUM. Overall, MCPS is moving forward, lurching though it may be, and stability in the superintends office is worth something.
Taylor is way beyond any other super in angering staff and parents.
McKnight wasted money on performative DEI, but she didn't actively introduce chaos and destruction.
There were things behind the scenes that McKnight did that were terrible and have caused many of the issues MCPS has now. But that does absolve TT from the chaos he is intentionally causing.

Oh. She's migrated from UMD to Bowie now?
Still at UMD. Bowie is just a seat on the board that meets a few times a year.
