It’s not perfection—I still enjoy some things like a vodka seltzer—but the medication has helped me make better choices consistently. My biggest takeaway is that Zepbound helped me lose weight, but strength training, protein, and changing daily routines are what I’m hoping will help me keep the benefits.
This is what I am hoping for as well and I'm a guy in my early 50s. I just started about 4 weeks ago with the 2.5 mg dose and am moving to the 5mg this week. I need to start to incorporate more of a resistance training regime - I have been walking a whole lot in the evenings which I didn't do before. I also stopped drinking alcohol. Since I stopped drinking and started the Zepbound I am down from 229 to 217 and would to get to that 190 to 195 range. I was there before about 10 to 15 years ago.
Looking for the other benefits as well - the loss of visceral fat, minimizing the snoring, etc.
Thanks for sharing.
