What is the purpose of following the stock market besides making you feel like crap?

Down 1.4% for entire portfolio. 2.5% for equities. We shall see what tomorrow brings.

I am actually hoping for a major dip over the next couple of days when we will be getting a large bonus deposited into DH's deferred income account, which is 60% in equities. We also have some cash we would like to invest.

I'd rather stay rich and lose more now, only to gain it back and more.

Just checked. My accounts are down $94k since June 1, but up $335k since the beginning of this year and $822k since this time last year.

I am not concerned!

I am not rich but having a drop day is waaaaay better than being poor.
