You could have this now if you had a more trustworthy spouse.

A nice condo ocean front of Virginia Beach. A 3 miles walk at the boardwalk everyday before sunrise. Heaven. For now, we can only a few days at the hotel each year.

A nice single family house (not a mansion but a nice one in good neighborhood)
Not needing to work
A big SUV for the family, off roading vehicle for the mountains, and a Porsche 911 for fun
Fly business class multiple times a year internationally
Full time nanny, house keeper, chef, etc
Home gym with personal trainer
Regular massages
Mountain retreat with plenty of land to hunt
Beach house or villa

Probably more than this but this is top of mind. Probably need $30M+ to afford this lifestyle

Me too.

Especially a nice house. Nice car. Unlimited self care. Business class travel and luxury hotels.

Sigh. I would settle for a nice house.

You wouldn’t though. As soon as you had it you would want all the stuff all your rich neighbors have.

Before divorcing Ivwas wealthy but regret how carrless we were with money. Here’s what I wish for now: the discipline to spend carefully and thoughtfully and within my means, and be out of debt.

I have 1.5 bathrooms and was quoted $50k pre-Covid to add a tiny shower to the half one. So I’m with you there.

I'd love to have a small NYC apartment. Dh is from there but everyone moved away. It'd be so fun for us, in laws and dcs to stay there rather than hotels when we go.

So I'll probably need a private jet too to get to where I want to go.

Same, but add a ski mountain within a 30 minute drive. Doesn’t have to be huge, just a nice place where mostly locals ski. Actually, I know exactly where this would be because I used to live in such an area, but we were definitely poor and didn’t have a lake cottage, or money to ski.
