Teachers make that in the DC area, but I'd say they are mostly at the top of the scale. We are a two teacher family and at the top of the MA+30 scale the salary is just over $128,800 for Fairfax County. Arlington is around $141k at an earlier point on their pay scale. Prince William $151k.

If he is childless, that’s fine. If he has kids- that a big portion of that money is going toward child support, college savings, etc. If that is the case, then no I wouldn’t date him

What is sad is you pretending that life doesn’t cost money
Sure it does but my values run counter to this area in that I don’t think you only count if you take international vacations or have your kids go to private school and play travel sports.
Ps I’m a woman and make 120k and married someone who makes less than me.

It’s a sad and pathetic life if you are just (or mostly) chasing money. The thing with money is no matter how much you accumulate, or how much your partner accumulates, it won’t fix the things that made u so pathetic u needed to chase money in the first place. The presence of more money will just accentuate those traits. It’s a bit of a paradox really.
