Have a 6 AM flight on Monday morning. No check in bags. What time do you received I get there? 2 AM sounds ridiculous.

Imagine how bad the trip back is going to be if you’re flying domestic…

Yes we rebooked and did this with no issues.
If you are on SW, they usually let you switch same day with no charge if there are seats. So if you stay up to midnight you might be able to switch.

Yes, you want someone standing in line and someone checking bags. Definitely get there 5-6 ahead. If you’re AM flight may be less.

Or get even earlier, check your bag and then join the line.

I also fly out 8am on Monday, but someone who flew out today told me that TSA lines didn't open until 4am. Apparently we are going to sleep in line? This is insane! I would have to pay extra and have a layover to switch to DCA or IAD so will take my chances I guess.

They don’t connect past security. Why they don’t move tsa agents from the d/e gates to a/b/c doesn’t make sense to me, though if I were in that position and got moved, I’d probably quit.

This administration has made absolutely everything about daily life in this country so awful, from gas, to groceries, to travel, to looking and feeling like a freaking third world country with masked ICE agents terrorizing and killing people.

Didn’t say it increased the throughput. It lets you make your flight.

Anyone who has the ability to rebook through DCA/IAD, do it. Even if it means a connection.

They should not allow you to go through security more than X in under if hours before your flight or people with am flights have no chance with afternoon travelers arriving at the same time.
