Partly true. This is for qualifying for actual Champions Cup for both Winter and Spring events. Another four teams are invited to fill out the Showcase bracket for the Spring event. For instance, both NVA and McLean got invites this year because they had the best records during league play. I don’t know exactly how they choose the four teams other than they are always in 1st or 2nd of their divisions or might have won the top showcase bracket at the winter event. It’s kinda an odd lottery.
