You must know only feral teens. Not all teens do this. And none should. You are clearly an enabler of this craziness.
It’s not enabling craziness to understand that this is what bored, disadvantaged, young people spend their time doing.
It's 2025. These kids attend schools with extracurricular activities, academic supports, meals, counselors, social workers, educational guidance, and caring adults. Quit pretending we're in the 1950s.

These programs are being cancelled because people do not want to pay enough in taxes to fully fund the public school systems. We needs casinos, data centers, and new taxes to fund the wraparound services that will keep these youth off the streets and busy.
I work in a public school sytem. We DO provide these services. Maybe DC schools don't?
DC students are provided lots of expensive services and free field trips and extracurriculars by non profits. There have been decades of government funded make work jobs for teenagers. The problem is the attitude displayed by many of these posters has allowed kids to pass through the school system without learning and without consequences for bad behavior. And then teenagers really do enter the world with no skills or ability to self regulate… hence this display.
Public schools don't exist to create compliant workers. They are training the next generation of voters and protestors which are fundamental to a democracy.

I know a guy in his 50s who does these. He’s a doctor with a serious midlife crisis issue. So he’s bought all these cars and hangs out with these kids thinking it makes him look cool.
There's regular car meetups, often known as Cars and Coffee. Everyone parks their cars in a parking lot and people walk around and look at each other's cars. No violence or trouble. People are even reminded to leave the parking lot quietly and not do burnouts and so on. I know a lot of men in their 50s who attend these.
None of them would participate in the lawlessness seen on the video (plus it took place after their bedtime).
The 50s guy I know definitely does the takeovers! He posts about it on social media. It’s very bizarre. But, he engages in a lot of other very risky behavior, like sleeping with sex workers.

You must be at a rich school. Our Mcps school isn’t like that. These may not all be school aged teens.

How do these disadvantaged kids afford cars and gasoline? Where are their parents? No curfew?
