Latest job figures show 1 million less jobs for last year than previously reported. Trump’s economy continues to crater.

Please google economic failures of the Biden Administration and start educating yourself.

Please you MAGAs need to stop blaming Biden for your totally incompetent leader. We can all read the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg. They are blaming Trump for his inept policies. It’s only MAGGATS and Fox still lamely trying to defend Trump’s economy. It’s just sad we all suffer when idiots cast their 2024 vote.

Not MAGA. I am an economist.

For Heritage?

Economy is what you study when you can’t get into a business school.

Definitely not true

I graduated in the mid 90s from an Ivy - before online recruiting really. A lot of is had no jobs at graduation. I had to relocate from my depressed hometown and take a job temping in a large city. To be honest, I probably learned a lot through that period of time about myself and the world. So it wasnt a negative although true...I had little money in my mid 20s.

The 2009 graduates must have had children very early in their careers or are reading up for the future. Ancient 1990 graduate here. Thankful to have gotten a federal job that started out very low pay. College senior still looking…MIS degree. Management information systems at top school for major in a tech town. Just February. High school junior keeps me lurking here.

To be fair Biden guarded employment at all costs. He was successful in moving through legislation and funding into infrastructure, chip manufacturing, clean energy and other industries. This created jobs and opportunities for new grads. Trump has done the exact opposite, funneling money his pocket and Elon’s pocket, trashing the economy and increasing inflation with tariffs. Companies are responding to the profit loss from Trumps slump and increased supply costs from tariffs by cutting labor. It will be rough for new grads for a while. Perhaps we shouldn’t have elected a dementia ridden boomer with a circus of regressive incompetents for his cabinet.

And Trump is just getting started.

Double major, computer science and math, from UMD. RMIB grad.

Look also at RedHat.com if willing to relocate and also familiar with Linux. They are hiring.

Major tech companies primarily hire via the "Careers" section of their main web site. Do not rely on LinkedIn or Indeed or whatever to get a job.

For people who couldn’t find jobs post-graduation - were you just looking in DC (or your hometown), or were you willing to relocate to start your career?
