BUT no I think Bad Bunny is mainstream.. all that stuff is totally mainstream, harry styles sells Nail Polish!! and used to wear skirts. think about it.. did your parents have access to clue when you were in th 16-24 demographic?? for a long time the HT show was catering to millennials but football was falling out of fashion so I think that owners wanted to appeal to younger ppl instead of aging millennial 40, 50 year olds who are in the habit of watching football anyways. we all get old and we spend all our money on our kids so its bad business to focus on parents instead of the young teens who drive the economy.

J Lo wasn’t even given the full Halftime headliner spot in 2020. She had to co headline with Shakira. She has more Hits in the USA than Shakira or Bad Bunny combined. Her show was way better and she had a political message about ICE even back then. She also performed in English and Spanish together to engage both audiences

Random Lady Gaga sucked and I like her. It wasn’t her style and they needed a singer who danced salsa. Maybe he owed her something.
