Yes, I love my kids and love talking to them. What’s wrong with that??
I talk to mine everyday as well, at least once a day! We both love it and wouldn't have it any other way. (We are not culturally American)

Anonymous wrote:Usually daily by text and 1 or 2 calls a week. Mom and DD. She texts and calls DH less.

Otherwise, he communicates very well with Venmo requests, haha!
Anonymous wrote:DH texted the family group chat and asked the kids if they'd seen the "bunny" performance at the super bowl....
whoops.

May I ask what is being discussed daily? I am not asking in a rude way at all.
My kid:
Show she watched, discussion topic in class, meal she ate (omg x was soooo good), i have a test tmrow in x (and related info (been studying in the library, taking a break soon, etc), trying a dark spin class later, calling you in 5 (laundry day!), can you order me a new x, the x-club is going out to x place today), I’ll send a meme or she will, I’ll send a local or national news article and she’ll respond (even just abt all the school delays last week), countdown to upcoming trip, etc.
this sounds like my daughter....
sounds perfectly healthy and normal to me.

Typically Facetime on Sundays.
