If you are a parent, do your research as to what MLS Academy is--it's not HG. You are essentially cutting your player off from making a tier 1 team as there is no where to progress to--ever-- at your club. And if you think your club is going to go from tier 2 to having a tier 1 offering in your players career lifetime--good luck. They took a total of 8 across the whole country. It's just not happening. The tier 2 money grab is real and they will bring on as many as will pay them for the badge. Next year will be another 100. Make sure you know what you are signing up for which is a diluted tier 2 experience. If you are going to go tier 2, your best option is to go to a club where you have a shot at at tier one team at some future point (example: Armour, Bethesda) vs one of the new VA clubs that cap their highest team at Tier 2.

That's cute. I will toss VA Revolution into the empty calories pile with SYC. Yeah for nattie's and rankings!
Meanwhile, Bethesda, Arlington, VDA and Achilles will continue to churn out professionals from the DMV that most of you don't even hear about.
Viva revolution...climb those rankings and rep the DMV...![]()
SYC has more kids spread across MLS Pro academies around the country than any other club you mentioned—they just don’t promote it the way other local clubs do. They’re also putting players on multiple national teams, including two recently with the U.S. National Team. Don’t put Revolution and SYC in the same sentence, lol.
I am going to kindly request that you name names because this is so materially inaccurate it is not even funny.
SYC Parents never let me downYou got that right. That might be it for the areaAnonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:No. Sterling has partnered with West Virginia Soccer to make the worst MLS Next club in the nation even worse. Go check the MLS Next Website for confirmation.
Isn’t Sterling in Loudoun? Wouldn’t it make sense to partner with a LOUDOUN club?

Your credibility plummets when you include VDA in that list.
How many clubs have players more valuable than Griffin Yow on their alumni list? We will hang up and listen.
