+100 lots of vain parents here.

Could you please link to what you use?
I believe it’s this one but any similar brand will do the job:

I wish I could find something like this but much tinier to do the base of my nostrils - the part that shows. That is the worst for unwanted hair for me.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I would start by bleaching it. You can buy bleach cream over the counter at most any drug store. You can always step it up to waxing, but I wouldn't start there.
Not bleach.
Start with waxing.
Nads cold sugar wax is DIY ar home and very simple to use.

Waxing creates wrinkles around the mouth (particularly above the lip).
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:And please do not shave. It creates stubble. I have seen actual women in the Nova/DC area who clearly think shaving is the answer and they have stubble!!!! Wax or get laser.
YES!
You might not be able to see the stubble but everyone else can.
This is not true for most. My DD has used it for years and doesn’t get stubble. Women aren’t men. Their upper lip hair isn’t coarse- at least in the majority of women, even those with darker hair, the upper lip hair isn’t going to be coarse enough to create stubble look.

When I came to the US for college my aunt and cousins told me they used a men’s razor to shave. I’ve been doing that ever since, three decades and counting.
Omg, are you insane???
Do not use a razor on her upper lip.
It will give eventually her stubble, a 5 o'clock shadow, and posdibly ingrown hair.
The only solutions are waxing or permanent hair removal.
No it won’t. I’ve been doing it for 30+ years with no issues. Stop spouting ignorance.
+1. I'm surprised at the comments for laser and waxing and threading. Laser, wax and thread require taking her somewhere, and it's very painful. Most of the cheap laser places are a temporary fix. Get her a Tinkle razor. I've been doing this for years and it works great, it's an old wive's tale that shaving makes hair grow in differently.
Waxing the upper lip is not at all painful
