Exactly, not even remotely comparable. If people weren't watching their own kids they'd pay someone else to do the job. OP doesn't need to hire someone to lay in bed for her all day and she wouldn't have a hard time answering the question of what she does instead of working.

The guy did her a tremendous favor if she takes advantage of the opportunity. Clearly it had never occurred to her that her situation in life would make her understanding of the world different than so many others. And kind of crazy that she spent long enough in the environment at an elite school without apparently reflecting on what will give her life purpose. The balls in her court now to open her mind and figure out her plan for her one life. This isn’t a dating issue.
