If you've listened to their presentations, they always say that rigor and grades across all four years is more important than the tests.

+1 It's competitive to get in, but way more so for OOS. I think they've always been pretty up front about that. I guess is someone never looked at the statistics before, they might be surprised, but otherwise, the numbers are expected.

My understanding is UVA includes recruited athletes in the EA numbers.

northern VA public, kids school's scatter plot shows that weighted GPA of 4.55 ish with 1480 sat for EA gets the kid in.

Has to be unweighted because SCHEV tells us the weighted is a 4.5 at the 75th percentile and a 4.4 at the median.

They might this year with Trump down their throats about merit.

My 2024 was accepted with a 4.36 early action (4.48 eoy) 35 ACT, 5s all APs. He was at a private high school (not a fancy one).
