I would guess closed Wednesday, 2 hour delay Thurs + Friday but just speculating.
Obviously you aren’t in FCPS. Wednesday is quarter end 2 hour early release and teacher work days Thursday and Friday.
Oh no. Our private relies on the decision FCPS makes. . And there won't be one Thurs/Fri? That's not good
I mean I hate to be this person, but if my private relied on FCPS, I'd have the FCPS calendar handy for reference......just saying.
My younger kids, in private, also rely on FCPS for inclement weather closings. It'weekdays.
FCPS, can still declare "closed" on Th/Fri bc lots of groups/Scouts/rec leagues/HS athletics use the schools for extracurriculars and they would need to know.
And teachers presumably come into their school building on teacher workdays.

I don't want them to open, I just don't get why they didn't call it already.
I liked how PG County did it - they said they are closed through Thurs. Friday is TBD. That way families can plan accordingly, no guessing or waiting around for an official announcement, and the reality is the neighborhood streets and school parking lots can't sufficiently be cleared until then.
Done and done.
Wish fcps would follow that same type of forward thinking and announcement.

Tomorrow Wednesday? Unlikely especially due to the scheduled early release. FCPS has a pretty consistent approach of always ending a multi-day string of snow days with a 2-hour delay. That would create a very short school day tomorrow. Much easier for them to just call it a week and restart on Monday. (Storm this weekend now looks like it will miss us to the south.)
I’m not sure why posters think they would do a 2 hour delay combined with an early release. If they decide on a 2 hour delay the end of the school day would switch to the regular dismissal time.
I'm asking the question because FCPS is the one who didn't already decide to close tomorrow. I don't understand that, but I've predicted what they'd do wrong before.

They aren't getting rid of the early release.
If they had a 2 hour delay they would.
