Big decisions: chocolate chip, sugar, or gingerbread cookies?

Lately I have felt not in the mood to cook much since I live in NYC now, so easy to get great food.

I am having a nice delivery of my favorite dishes tomorrow before the storm like beef coconut curry and stuffed tofu. I will probably microwave popcorn and maybe make blueberry pancakes.

Kind of regretting it, though. Might go back and see if they still have any.

Otherwise,

cottage pie
chicken cutlets
meatballs and sausage and peppers

After that, it's eggs, fruit and cereal and don't bother me.

Are you Italian?

I learned my lesson in Covid!

This was me. Also some dirty martinis with blue cheese olives. Frankly, we started tonight acting like we're snowed in. I guess we needed a break and to chill out ?

Same and honestly we are already snacking.

Amazon fresh is out of every single brand and size of ricotta AND all jarred sauces and the safeway I just went to had 4 ricotta containers left in the entire store.

I'm actually making stuff shells, but basically a lasagna in shell form?

You're also all eating a crapload of strawberries and bananas.

You could not force me at gunpoint to be in a grocery store after weather news breaks.

Same. I also like to eat through the stuff I have like a challenge and clean up the pantry.

Me too. I hope someone starts a thread on the creative things we come up with!

Great idea!

Sourdough loaf, and bean soup. Nothing too complicated as power may go out.

Dinner tomorrow will be Chicken Marbella. Just put a tray of thighs in the fridge to marinate.

We do Senate navy bean soup in the slow cooker with a ham bone, but we leave meat on the bone when we freeze it so it works. If you don't you could always do it with the bone and a ham steak.

DP. Recipe? I have heard many people mention this soup, but never had it.
