He’s a good governor.
But Dems won’t vote for him because he’s a Jew.
Republicans won’t vote for him for the same reason.
Please explain how he became governor of a purple state without the Democratic vote. Stupid people writing stupid things with a fork tongue.

The “whole country”? Do you have a cite for that?

Nutjobs like the PP always think their radical views are shared by everyone else.
DP. Guess you do not follow US politics. The right, center, independents and left all hate Israel each for different reasons. They all in the strongest term wants to end the US relationship with Israel.
I'm curious, can you expand a little on the different reasons?
The right- replacement theology, perceived hostility to Christians, White Nationalism, media coverage and conspiracy theories. Jewish people are seen as the primary existential threat to the "white race" and the masterminds behind a conspiracy to destroy white society. A secret cabal of Jewish people is orchestrating demographic changes—such as immigration and civil rights laws—to marginalize white people. They will sometimes support Jews killing Muslims because they want both Jews and Muslims removed.
The Center and Independents- foreign spending, avoidance of foreign wars, America First and sees the treatment of Palestinians as unfair and unAmerican. They see Israel as receiving endless amounts of free aid, deals and special treatment because they have control of the US political system.
The Left- genocide, treatment of the Palestinians, crimes against humanity, Israel’s human rights record, Israeli apartheid state, Israelis endless wars and Israel’s refusal to address the root cause of the problem(the taking of Palestinians property and forced removal). Israel is seen as a far right fanatical religion regime with no western values.
Never ask a question you don’t already know the answer to …
The PP thought they were being cute, but the response above - deadeye accurate, mind you - paints the inconvenient truth.
The center and left segments of the population (let’s say 60-65% of the population) don’t loathe Israel for any reason other than its policies and actions, for its dependence on U.S. welfare to enable those horrific, immoral policies and actions, and for its disgusting hubris and arrogance in the face of global pressure to alleviate the suffering it has caused (and continues to cause) to the region’s indigenous people.
Sorry you didn’t get the “cuz the joos!” response you hoped you’d get, PP. Better luck next time, I guess.

In his new memoir, the Pennsylvania governor suggests that when Kamala Harris’s team vetted him to be her running mate, aides focused on Israel to an extent he found offensive.
Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, a prominent Democrat who was a top contender to serve as former Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate in 2024, offered his most detailed accounting to date of the vice-presidential search process in his new memoir, which was obtained by The New York Times.
In short: He suggests that it was far uglier than is commonly known.
In Mr. Shapiro’s book, “Where We Keep the Light,” the governor is measured in describing his interactions with Ms. Harris herself. But Mr. Shapiro, who is Jewish, details a contentious vetting process in which Ms. Harris’s team focused intensely on his views on Israel — so much so that at one point, he wrote, he was asked if he had ever been an agent of the Israeli government.
“Had I been a double agent for Israel?” wrote Mr. Shapiro, describing his incredulous response to a last-minute question from the vetting team. He responded that the question was offensive, he wrote, and was told, “Well, we have to ask.”
“Have you ever communicated with an undercover agent of Israel?” the questioner, Dana Remus, a former White House counsel, continued, according to Mr. Shapiro, who recounted, “If they were undercover, I responded, how the hell would I know?”

Well I guess this is why he did not help her in Pa or was he just up set he was not selected?

He’s smearing his diaper all over his future with his book because poor Josh Shapiro evidently effed up his political ambitions all on his own during the vetting and final meetings with the Harris campaign. Oh well! I guess his burn book is consolation enough.

That is BS, plenty of dems voted for Bernie and if he won the primary, most would have voted for him.

I will never vote for someone who served and assisted another military and not the USA military. Frack him

The fact that he’s Jewish isn’t what disqualifies him. It’s the support of Israel, and the implied support of Israel’s policies and actions.
To be clear, Israel doesn’t have a right to exist. No country has such a “right”. Continued existence is based on the will of people. But if Shapiro could learn to understand what most of the rest of the world is seeing with their own eyes, the sky would be the limit.
Well, the will of Israelis—that is, the people who live in Israel—is to continue to exist.
Cool. The calculus doesn’t merely involve their own will, though. Tough break.
Actually, the tough break for haters of Israel is that Israel is still there. The Israelis will to survive against those who wish to see them destroyed has proven to be too much for its enemies.
