My parents did this to me too pp, it takes a while to get used to living out in the real world when you are this sheltered.

I mean- this person sounds naive. But it is true that DC has no artists walking around and taking public transport. When I first moved here I was surprised how everyone looked so… boring and suited up and staid.

So, this poster, yes eyeroll. But DC is kinda boring. One more reason I like Richmond!

Probably the life we lead to an extent but also contributing to it is her general personality, which, like I said, likes logic, order, sameness. I am artsy and have tried to inculcate some of this in her but she is a black and white type of personality: logic, order, engineering, math. Sometimes kids just have their own personality no matter what we do to try to influence it, what can I say?

Who taught her this bias?

I heard it is very competitive for medical and has one of the best dental programs. I also heard good for arts. Certain programs are very competitive.
