My brother - I have never met anyone he is in a relationship with.

He hinted he was in a relationship with someone a few years ago and considered moving for them but that was all he would say about that.

I think he might be gay but probably waiting to come out but my parents are super religious.

Agree my Ukrainian uber driver last night was better looking. There are so many gorgeous Slavic men in Kiev. Leo has some Russian ancestors I believe. He looks very average for that region

The men I know who are 40ish and unmarried very much want to be. There are far more women who are single and say they are not trying to find a partner.

They are easy to spot and are not marriage material.

Now if they’re lying to hook a short term relationship here and there, that’s disgusting.

Otherwise, like attracts like or they’ll have a wake of irrational women who thought they could change his mind.

If they’re not hurting anybody? What on earth do I care. The ones who are leading on their romantic partners are trash, but that’s true of anybody leading on a romantic partner.

I worked with a guy like that - late 40s, good looking, charming. I think it really was FOMO writ large for him. He once asked me, newly married, how I could marry because what if there was someone better out there.

But he seems to be content enough with his life and as far as I can tell has always been upfront with the women he sees about no commitment so who truly cares?

I have a very large family and the forever bachelor men in my family don't want to be financially responsible for other people. One is 30 and he just told his parents, he just didn't have a strong need to get a normal job and try to make enough money for another adult and children. He is a ski instructor in the US in the winter and elsewhere in the summer or he will be a white water rafting guide some summers.

My forever bachelorette niece just never found the right one and is having babies on her own. Has a great job, her own house, etc.
