I prefer the first spelling of the name.

I am above pp...seeing where this thread went, it may also be worth reporting that I have never had an issue being taken seriously (am in my forties).

This. This is my name and it's true (doesn't even matter which version as I get them all). That being said, I think some will say "Haley" with a different a sound like the start of "alligator."
