PS who calls it Reagan is either a Republican or too young to remember awful Reagan firing all of the air traffic controllers. The Rs called it "Reagan" to troll the DC area citizens.
It’s literally named Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
Nobody calls it that.
It is National or DCA.

Why would they do this? There have been over 15,000 close calls over the years. All of those kids died in an accident that was preventable.

Everyone else calls it National or DCA
I’ve been here 38 years (I’m 38) and I call it Reagan National. Lifelong democrat.
Yep. Born here here over 40 years ago and lived in the region the entire time. I call it Reagan or Reagan national. I also use the term DMV. And I’m definitely not a republican.
Yeah you must be from VA. Or lying. Im 52 and born and raised in DC. No one calls it Reagan or DMV. DMV is where you get your license. Reagan was the president that caused the air raid sirens every Thursday in my DC public school, in the early and 80s, when you werent born. National was named "Reagan" in 1998.
PP here. Not lying, I'm in my mid 40s now. Lived about half of that in Fairfax co. and half in MoCo and PG.
In 30 years if a 40 year old called the Kennedy center the Trump Kennedy center, it would annoy me. But that might be all they have heard it called for years and years. So I kinda get why you folks may be annoyed at other people calling DCA "Reagan".

I feel like most people under 35 call it Reagan airport. They don't remember a time when it had a different name.
