It depends on which field you are at b/c some are in crappy areas without hotels.
Anything our team manager booked within a 20 minute drive I would be OK with.

If they want people to stay to play, they need to reserve more room blocks.
Personally, if a conveniently located clean hotel is not available thru their travel agency, they haven't held up their end of the deal and teams should feel free to book independently.

Teams grab rooms they don't end up using, and those rooms will get released and be available at the end of their booking window. I emailed the travel company for an earlier Jefferson Cup weekend. They let me know the dates rooms would be released at the hotel our team was looking at, and I was able to grab them then.

The girls showcase link is working now. Good luck finding a hotel without a 2 night minimum that's not a roach motel.

For the boys showcase, they just sent an email saying acceptances/rejects will be posted by Tuesday.
