I don't have either and I don't care how common anyone thinks it is, I don't want it and no, I won't have sex with anyone that has HSV-2 even with a condom. Cold sores, which are HSV 1 need to be treated carefully. My long time GF of the past was ready to go down on me with a sore on her lip and couldn't believe when I explained why that's not a good idea. Even after I told her, she said I was wrong. HSV 1 rarely passes from mouth or face to genitals but it can happen and, if you're having an outbreak, you need to avoid oral.Anonymous wrote:Examine the your last STI test report. Do you see an HSV test result? You won't, because standard panels don't include it.
A dare to those of you who think you don't have it: tell your doctor you specifically want an HSV test. You have nothing to fear, right?

That is where the “undiagnosed” comes from. If you look it up-in the the majority of cases a person experiences their first outbreak within 3 days of being infected. If someone is walking around not knowing they have HSV-2 it’s because they already know and just dont want a record of it being real.
Why do you persist making stuff up? This is very well documented:
“Studies estimate that up to 90% of those infected with HSV-2 are unaware of their status. Even among people who test positive for HSV-2 antibodies, only about 10 to 40% recall ever experiencing symptoms they associated with herpes. The rest either had no symptoms at all or didn’t recognize them for what they were.”

That’s HSV1
Is it an STD like genital herpes? I see a lot of people with those cold sores on their lips often during the winter time.

I didn’t make anything up? What if I told you that people get embarrassed and don’t tell the truth when asked about this kind of stuff? Just because a person saying “they don’t recall ever experiencing symptoms” doesn’t make it true. Also the failure to recognize the symptoms for what they were is a perfect example of people who really shouldn’t be having sex at all. If you get genital herpes and just don’t care enough to find out why you have sores that’s really on you. Statistics are only as good as the people they are getting the information from. Think about how many teenagers are asked if they are sexually active or if they have tried drugs. Do you think they all tell the truth?
You should just admit you were wrong instead of digging the hole deeper.
