A pediatric oncologist at INOVA, in my sister's case. Yep, she is a class A loser!

Stop being so desperate. Desperate to go on this date despite the red flags. Desperate for attention on here despite not taking anyone's advice.
Op here. I am meeting him. Will report back how it goes.
Noo are you serious!? In Foggy Bottom? This is a terrible foundation for a relationship. Before even meeting him, you’ve already taught him that you are willing to be a doormat and he doesn’t need to compromise anything for you. How can you possibly be expecting a respectful, equal relationship to come out of this!?!?

Op here. This is true! But I do want to drive and I was happy to drive to Arlington for a first meet. After that if we click I’d be okay going into the city for a nicer experience. But I was put off by his insistence to meet for the first time in DC on a rainy day.
Where in Arlington did you propose meeting? Insisting on planning the date around your refusal to take public transit is pretty selfish on your part.

“So Foggy Bottom is still too far for from Fairfax for me. Arlington would work better as it’s the mid point for both of us distance wise. If Arlington works for you I’m happy to meet, if not we can always connect another time.”
it's literally a 3< minutes 1 stop ride on metro. why wouldn't either of you compromise?
