I dated a woman on and off who did this to herself. She looks much worse. She's liberal/progressive and also naturally very attractive. Unfortunately, she lacks self confidence. She also likes wealthy alpha males. Now she's with a CEO of a company.

Rich women have been doing these bizarre “beauty” rituals forever. Chinese court ladies convinced themselves that smashed, chronically infected feet were attractive. African tribes convinced themselves that elongated necks that could no longer support the head were attractive. Elizabethans slathered their faces in lead paint. And Mar a Lago women convinced themselves that faces full of artificial fillers and actual bona fide toxins were a sign of health.

Outside of sheer kink, which is usually conditioned and not natural, no one actually finds any of these things attractive because they do not reflect good genes.

Not at all. I look at Kristi Noem and Katherine Leavitt and think... "Why did you do that to yourself? You were so attractive before." But I also can't stand what comes out of their mouths, either, so that would've been a deal breaker for me.
