You must be old. The younger generation will find out if they want to know and they don't need to ask to do it. They also don't have any problem with flat out discussing political views.
What is the point of not revealing your politics when you're dating? Lying about politics and religion might get you a second date, but long-term it can only lead to a really uncomfortable relationship in which you feel like you're constantly walking on eggshells. It's going to come out eventually, why not just deal with it upfront. If he or she walks away because of it, then you both saved each other some time.
Men often lie about who they are and what they believe until they think they've got their partner "locked in". Then they let the mask slip, thinking there is no way she will leave.
Normalize leaving after the first red flag, not wandering miles through the red flag fields!

Now that we’ve settled into the relationship he has started trying to get me to listen to various podcasts he’s into. I don’t listen to podcasts and never really knew who these people were. Well after listening more they are saying some very anti-woman stuff, and my boyfriend has started complaining about how feminism and women working has ruined our society. He also has started saying super anti-Jewish stuff. Um WTF?! He is entitled to his opinions, but he clearly deceived me on his views.
I decided im done. But i’m pissed that he wasted my time.
Have you ever noticed that liberals are far less forgiving and open minded than conservatives. Example...You're far less likely to see a liberal woman willing to date a conservative guy, but most conservatives would date a liberal. Sorry, but liberals are close minded, a bit radical...and kind of freaking crazy.
What self-respecting woman would date a conservative man? It’s not being close minded. It’s respecting yourself and your worth.

Would you reveal it straight away if the woman revealed straight away that she’s conservative? I might be dating again soon and definitely looking for conservative men this time. It would prevent so many arguments.
Also, do you think most conservative men are religious these days? I’m not in a church and was hoping to find someone conservative but not religious. Not sure where to find those men though.

Much more common than not, for both men and women. Something like 60% of religious voters poll Democrat these days. Only about 35% of Republican voters are religious. Only about 10% of Independent or Libertarianish voters are religious.
These statements are meaningless/inconsistent/wrong.
Party correlation varies hugely by *which* religion and sect.

Pew lost all credibility a decade or more ago. Even the name is a running joke now. Pew!![]()
