It’s a temporary program limited to 250 meals a night at each high school. It will be ok. APS doesn’t need to quiz people on when they ate their last meal.
I care about programs including 250 meals a night at school going to people who actually need them.

Your head would explode if APS did that. You just want to complain.
No because I would rather give them money rather than give it to still employed school cafeteria workers working extra hours and APS staff to administer it.
BS. You gave up the game when you said a few hot meals made people dependent.
The cafeteria workers have low wages and some are probably on SNAP. This gives them a few extra paid hours.
Other staff (principals, syphax) are salaried and won’t benefit.
No that was a different "hater" I didn't say that.
But see how the goodness of this keeps moving to make it just undeniably the bestest way... it's to help feed APS families in need... it's to feed APS families and anyone else in need... it's to feed everyone in need and increase earnings for low paid workers...
Just own you BS. I'm going to Safeway to buy stuff for Scouting for Food.

Feeding hungry kids and families isn’t a political statement. It’s called the right thing to do. Everyone is a human. Somehow the Republican Party has forgotten that.
+1
Republicans are vile POSs every chance they get. Can they for once just try to do the right thing? WTF is wrong with them?

Get over yourself.
There is no political statement in the announcement. There is no blame to anyone. Are you blaming Youngkin for being political for help people on snap? Is the county political for emergency donations to AFAC?
APS has cafeterias, food service employees and efficient access to food distribution.
It’s an efficient temporary response to thousands of federal employees who have not received a paycheck for more than a month and nearly as many families who are only getting partial SNAP benefits.
